Tammy, an anointed woman of God, truly believes that ALL things work together for the good (Romans 8:28). The Chaplain’s Chapter: Prayer Book was birthed through weekly chaplain’s submissions to her beloved sorority. Tammy is known for sharing God’s love with a smile, a hug, and a positive word. She has a genuine love for Christ and for His people, and tends to never meet a stranger.
Tammy accepted her call to the ministry and was licensed in February of 2004. Seven years later, she was ordained as a Youth Pastor in February 2011. She is also a retired educator of 28 years, fifteen years as a Speech Language Pathologist and thirteen as a professional counselor. With her continued passion for young people and their education, she is currently an adjunct professor and substitute teacher.
Tammy is happily married to one of God’s greatest creations, Erskine Simmons, the proud mother of two adult children, Kristian Tierre and Erskine Kristoff, and a super proud gammy to God-grand A’leyah Danyce and gambay Ami La’nae. Her family is her strength, next to the love of God. And through His love, Tammy will continue to trust, believe, and fulfill His Will.
